Abstract:Aluminum power pretreated with different organic agents for surface treatment was filled in polyurethane to form composite. The toughness and stiffeness of the composite were analyzed by universal material test machine.The results showed that these organic agents for surface treatment could act as coupling agents between aluminum and polyurethane resin, and greatly increase the toughness and stiffness of the composite. The effects of organic molecules structure on toughness and stiffness of the composite were studied.
