RECOVERY OF GOLD AND SILVER FROM SROM SPENT LINING BRICKS FOR GOLD-SILVER SMELTING

Spent lining bricks for gold-silver smelting,due to their high gold and silvercontent,are of great value to us recover gold and silver. A process techniue has been cstab-lished of flotation-gravity separation,followed by removing magnesium from products acidleaching. Flotation effect can be intensified by combined use of reagents; the recovery ofcoarse gold and silver can be guaranteed by tabling of flotation tailing;concentrate can meetthe requirements of gold and silver smelting by removing magnesium by acid leaching andtailing after magnesium-removal can be returned to a primary smelting system for compre-hensively recovering such valuable elements as gold,silver,copper and bismuth. Since theflowsheet is simple,rational and ease to operate,better economic results have been obtainedin production practice.
