Abstract:The pathogen of rhododendron caused brown patch was isolated and cultivated. Both morphological and molecular methods were used to identify the pathogen. The internal transcribed spacer(ITS) region in rRNA gene was cloned and sequenced, and the sequence was compared with others species in Genbank. The results showed that the Phomopsis sp. was the pathogen of rhododendron brown patch.
