Among the architectural awards of fered today, Aga Khan has the most explicit social di mension, as this cycle' s master jury explained in its report it “searched for projects which respond cre atively to the crises of the world in general today”. The award -winning building introduced in this pa per is an excellent project in which the simplest tech niques and local materials were brought together by two young architects to serve for the plebs. This example can be taken as a reference for the popular architecture design in the developing countries and in the poor regions in particular.
