摘    要:研究采用理想匹配层(PML)吸收边界条件的时域有限差分法(PML-FDTD法)在分析波导不连续性问题中的应用,首先通过模拟正弦调制的高斯脉冲在波导中的传输来验证PML的吸收性能,然后将采用PML吸收边界的FDTD法应用于矩形波导填充有限媒质时的S参数和圆形波导中矩形薄膜片反射系数的计算,数值结果与巳有文献比较一致,说明了PML吸收边界条件用于FDTD法分析波导问题的有效性。

Abstract:Discontinuities in waveguides are analyzed by the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method with perfectly matched layer (PML) absorbing boundary condition (ABC). The performance of PML is investigated using FDTD modeling of the propagation of sinusoidally modulated Gaussian pulse in a rectangular waveguide. Using the FDTD method with PML ABC, scattering parameters of rectangular waveguide filled with finite length dielectric material, and the reflection coefficient of circular waveguide with a rectangular iris are calculated. Numerical results agree very well with the reference's, and confirm the validity of PML-FDTD method in analysis of waveguide discontintities.
