| Abstract: | This paper firstly introduces the concept of environmental scanning and its functions, then discusses the theory of environmental scanning from the aspects of scanning focus, the choice and use of information sources, scanning modes and impact factors of scanning, and finally proposes an information seeking behavior model of environmental scanning. |
