成人活体肝移植

成人活体肝移植（adult living donor liver transplantation,LDLT）是在分体肝移植基础上，为了减缓供体器官严重短缺而开展的一项手术。它能降低晚期肝病患者在等待移植过程中的病死率，避免使用质量不良的供肝，从而提高供肝及患者的存活率。然而，目前多采用的是右半肝作为供肝，如果能找出供肝体积下限，将左半肝或左外叶作为成人LDLT的常规供肝，则供体术后安全得到进一步保障，成人LDLT将可普及推广。

Adult Living Donor Liver Transplantation

Adult to adult living donor liver transplantation presents a new promising transplantation procedure, which could potentially greatly decrease mortality as well as time on the waiting list. Further experience will yield better patient and graft survival, by allowing transplantation adapted to the immediate need of patients and by restricting the use of the marginal livers to exceptional situations. Graft availability from living donors will decongest the waiting list and ultimately save lives rather than threaten the donor's health. However, right lobe graft was advocated for adult living donor liver transplantation but the safety of the donor is still a major concern. We hypothesize that donor's safety would be guaranteed if the lowest limit of volume of graft liver is known then the left lobe or left lateral segment of the liver could be routinely transplant to an adult recipient.
