| Abstract: | ;There are a large number of folk forms of Chinese characters in the popular novels of Ming andQing Dynasties. When reading and studying the novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties,we should pay attention to the folk forms of Chinese characters. Based on the block-printed edition of these novels, this paper makes philological studies on folk forms of Chinese characters, such as "cai(跴)","ha(■)","chou(肘)","bie(■)","bingtie(并铁)","tangua(担括)","muliang(拇量)","xian(■)","zhong (■)’. |
