四川省高校图书馆外文数据库建设现状及思考

在调查四川省本科院校图书馆外文数据库建设的基础上,通过统计分析发现四川省本科院校图书馆外文数据库建设虽然取得了较大的进展,但仍存在一些问题,表现在不同高校外文数据库建设差距较大、外文数据库规模小、构成和比例不合理等。分析认为,经费不足、认识与导向偏差和数据库建设人才匮乏是导致外文数据库建设滞后的主要原因。为加快各高校外文数据库的建设,应更新观念,积极探索合理分配经费的最佳路径,并加强专业人才的培养,建立川内高校图书馆外文数据库资源服务中心。

Current Situation of and Consideration about the Construction of Foreign Language Databases in Colleges and Universities in Sichuan Province

ABSTRACT： Based on the survey of the construction of foreign language databases in university libraries in Sichuan Province, and through the statistical analysis, this paper finds that although the construction of foreign language databases in colleges and universities in Siehuan Province has made greater progress, there are still some problems, such as the larger gap among different colleges and universities in the construction of foreign language databases, the mall size of foreign language databases, and the unreasonable composition and proportion of foreign language databases, etc., holds that the shortage of funds and talents orientation about the foreign for the construction of the foreign language language databases, and the deviation of knowledge and databases are the main reasons of the hysteresis in the construction of the foreign language databases, and points out that in order to fasten the construction of the foreign language databases, it is necessary to update concept, positively explore the best way for distributing funds, and establishing Sichuan＇s foreign language database resources service center.
