摘    要:通过采用EBT+LF+VD+ESR冶炼精炼工艺、钢锭高温扩散均质化技术、三镦三拔多向锻造技术、固溶双细化热预处理技术,获得了一种新型的高性能热作模具钢RX4,该模具钢的纯净度、均匀性和等向性均得到了有效地保证。在此基础上,本文研究了RX4材料的组织、性能和在精锻模具上的应用情况。结果表明,RX4材料具有较高的热稳定性、高温强度、及抗热疲劳性能。RX4精锻模具现场使用情况表明,在相同的工艺条件下,其精锻模具的平均寿命较H13同类产品有较大幅度的提高。

Application of a New Hot Working Die Steel with High Quality RX4 for Precision Forging Die
Abstract:By virtue of EBT + LF + VD + ESl/ smelting and relining, high temperature homogenization, mutt-directional forging, as well as solution and double-refinement pre-treatment, a new hot working die steel with high quality (RX4) was obtained in this paper, and the purity, homogenization and isotropy of this new die steel could be fairly ensured. Based on this, we investigated the structure and performance of RX4, and used this new steel to manufacture precision forging dies for spot work. The results indicated that RX4 had relatively higher thermal stability, high-temperature strength and thermal fatigue resistance. Under the same conditions, the life expectancy of precision forging dies made by RX4 showed an obvious extension compared with that of H 13.
