Abstract:The oxidative dehydrogenation of cyclohexane has been greatly developed for over 20 years in order to make use of the by-product from the selective hydrogenation of benzene and to obtain the high value product cyclohexene.For obtaining a high yield and selectivity for cyclohexene,lower reaction temperature and optimal reaction pathway,the option of catalyst is very important.So this review presented the catalytic performance,the reaction conditions and the reaction mechanism of the oxidative dehydrogenation of cyclohexane over the zeolite catalysts,metal oxide catalysts and the single-gauze catalysts including noble metal in detail.Moreover,the active center or the active species of the vanadium-based,the molybdenum-based and the nickel-based oxide catalysts were clarified.Suggestions for further studies had been proposed to find out a suitable catalyst to produce cyclohexene as much as possible for the industrialization purpose.
