Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of auricular point magnetic bead sticking combined with acupuncture on senile functional constipation and its influence on TCM syndrome score and rectal sensory function.Methods:A total of 104 senile patients with functional constipation treated in our hospital from April 2019 to September 2020 were divided into the control group and the treatment group,with 52 cases in each group.The control group was treated with acupuncture,once a day and 5 times as a course of treatment,with an interval of 3 days.The treatment group was treated with auricular point magnetic bead sticking on the basis of the control group.The two groups were treated continuously for 1 month.The clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score,rectal sensory function indexes(including rectal sensory threshold,defecation sensory threshold,maximum tolerance),rectal and anal manometry,quality of life score of patients with constipation based on patient assessment of constipation quality of life(PACQOL)and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The effective rate was 71.15%in the control group and 88.46%in the treatment group.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The TCM syndrome score of the two groups decreased significantly after treatment,and there was significant difference compared with that before treatment(P<0.05);there was also significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The rectal sensory threshold,defecation sensory threshold and maximum tolerance of the two groups decreased after treatment,and there were significant differences compared with those before treatment(P<0.05);there were also significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).After treatment,the rectal systolic pressure and anal residual pressure of the two groups decreased,and the differences were statistically significant compared with those before treatment(P<0.05);there were also significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).The PACQOL score of the two groups decreased after treatment,and there was significant difference compared with that before treatment(P<0.05);there was also significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the control group was 3.85%,and that in the treatment group was 7.69%.There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Auricular point magnetic bead sticking combined with acupuncture can effectively improve the TCM syndrome and rectal sensory function of senile patients with functional constipation,and enhance the quality of life.
