新乡城郊2433名小学生心率、血压的调查分析

INVESTIGATION AND ANALYSIS OF HEART RATE AND BLOOD PRESSURE OF 2433 PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS IN THE CITY PROPER AND THE SUBURBS OF XINXIANG

From April 16th to May 10th.1984, the authors measured the heart rate and blood pressure of each 6to 13year old boy and girl from 8 primary schools in the city prop er and the suburbs of xinxiang. There were altogether 2433 pupils measured, 888 pupils from the city proper and 1545 from the suburbs, the methods of measurement were based upon the detailed rules and regulations of measurement of "the Research Group of the Health of Yaungsters of China". Random Sampling was used and the measured data were handled statically. The result shows that the heart rate and the blood pressure (systolic pressure and diastolic pressure)of the boys and girls of both the city proper and the suburbs ch ange regularly with the increasc in their age. The blood pressure rises and the heart rate decreases with the increase in age. The feature of age and the sexual difference of the blood pressure change have an alternate phenonenon. The investigation data supply the reference information for further research on the function of heart and blood vessels of the yaungsters in the city proper and suburbs of x:nxiang.
