| Abstract: | In this paper, a kind of inverse eigenvalue problem which is the reconstruction of real symmetric five-diagonal matrix by five eigenvalues and corresponding eigenvectors is proposed. The solvability of the problem is discussed and some sufficient and necessary conditions for existence of solution are given. Furthermore numerical algorithm and some numerical experiments are given. |
