Character and Object and Task of Speech Linguistics

Speech is a social act of exchange of ideas and information by language, in-cluding two basic links of expressing and understanding .Speech linguistics belongs to behavioral science. It takes the two vertical and horizontal systems of speech as its study object. Generalizing universal laws and establishing behavior models, speech linguistics provides people with a set of common followed principles and rules for application. Its basic task is to heighten the communicative effect of speech.
