| Abstract: | By virtue of new analysis technique, we have established a strong convergence theorem for Ishikawa iteration scheme for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex Banach spaces. Our results improve the recent ones announced by Schu, Rhoades Liu and Xue and others. |
