苦瓜制剂治疗2型糖尿病临床观察

目的　探讨苦瓜提取物治疗糖尿病的可能机制。方法　将苦瓜提取物制备成苦瓜制剂 ,选择 2型糖尿病人或高血糖者 60例 ,其中临床观察组 3 0例 ,对照组 3 0例作为研究对象 ,采用双盲法进行自身及组间对照 ,观察期间原服用降糖药品种和剂量不变 ,观察组加服苦瓜制剂 ,对照组加服安慰剂。 1个月后 ,测量空腹血糖及餐后血糖 ,采用放射免疫测定法对胰岛素、胰高血糖素、C肽等指标进行测定。结果　苦瓜制剂组 ,空腹血糖下降 2 .2 4mm ol/ L,餐后血糖下降 2 .2 6m m ol/ L,两组对比差异有显著性 ( P<0 .0 5 ) ,对照组空腹血糖及餐后 2 h血糖变化不明显 ,治疗后空腹胰岛素浓度轻度增加但无统计学意义 ( P>0 .0 5 )。胰岛素与血糖的比值在糖耐量试验较治疗前增加。C肽和胰高血糖素比值在糖耐量试验较治疗前增加。结论　苦瓜制剂对胰岛细胞具有双向调节作用 ,可促进胰岛 β细胞分泌 ,抑制胰岛 α细胞分泌的作用

Clinical research on type-2 diabetes mellitus with the preparation of balsampear

Objective To investigate the action mechanism of the preparation of balsampear for treating NIDDM patients.Methods The capsule,in this experiment,is a kind of special health food,which is composed of the preparation of balsampear.A study of therapeutic effect of the preparation on 30 NIDDM patients was presented.Changes of serum levels of glucose,insulin C-peptide and glucagon were observed after treatment.Results The balsampear group had a decrease of 2.24 mmol/L in fasting blood-glucose level,and a decrease of 2.26 mmol/L in postcibal blood-glucose level,with a significant difference as compared with the control group (P<0.05);the control group had no obvious difference in blood-glucose levels between fasting period and two hours after meal,their slight increase in fasting insulin levels after treatment gave no statistical significance (P>0.05).Insulin-tolerance test after treatment showed an increased ratio of insulin/blood glucose,and an increased ratio of C-peptide/glucagon.Conclusion It is suggested that the preparation of balsampear might bring forth remarkable improvement of β-cell function,while directly inhibiting the excretion of islet α-cell.
