Abstract:The method for the determination of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid in different parts of Mesona Chinensis Benth was established by HPLC with microwave-assisted extraction.The separation was achieved on Kromasil C18 column(4.6mm×250mm,5μm) with methanol-water-phosphoric acid(90∶10∶0.1,V/V/V) as the mobile phase at flow rate of 0.8mL·min-1,with 210nm as the detection wavelength and 30℃ as column temperature.Oleanolic acid had a good relationship in the range of 0.228—2.850μg(r=0.9998).The recovery and RSD for oleanolic acid were 98.2% and 1.5%(n=6),respectively.Ursolic acid had a good relationship in the range of 0.544—6.800μg(r=0.9998).The recovery and RSD for ursolic acid were 97.8% and 1.2%(n=6),respectively.The proposed method is accurate and simple,and that promises to be applicable for the determination of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid in Mesona Chinensis Benth.
