对地方院校大学英语课堂教学的定位和再思考

摘    要:地方院校的许多学生在中学阶段的英语基础不牢固,语言知识基础和综合运用能力特别是听说能力十分薄弱.主要表现在语音语调不准确,口语和听力交流受阻,在阅读、写作、翻译中基础错误频发,对其大学英语学习进步形成了重大阻碍.要使地方院校的每一个学生在听说读写译能力和推荐词汇量几方面全面发展,成为合格的毕业生,需要从对学生加强语言基础知识和综合应用能力的补习和训练、提高课堂教学的吸引力,保持学习兴趣、注重学习策略的培养,以提高学习效率等方面着手.

Abstract:Students in local universities are mostly not very proficient in their middle-school English.They are still rather poor at their basic English language knowledge and comprehensive utilization capability.,They make frequent basic mistakes in their reading,writing and translation.All these deficiencies would be serious obstacles to their advanced English study in university.In order to have every student developed smoothly in their study and become qualified graduates,we should mainly strengthen the basic training in their language knowledge and language use;enhance the English classroom teaching appeal;lay stress on the cultivation of learning strategies to make their English learning more efficient.
