The processing effect of sewage disposal system relates with the types, quantity and metabolism vigor of microorganisms which compose the activated sludge. This article has analyzed the correlation between the sludge biofacies and its running state concerning the structure of activated sludge, microorganism types, quantity and activeness and so on. It has also explained that processing effect and the movement condition can be learned through the observation of the biofacies in the disposal system, and unusual situations occurrence in movement of the sewage disposal system can be prevented by adjusting the movement environment promptly with the environment changes.
