Graft Copolymerization of Starch with Vinyl Monomers and Modification of Its Copolymers

The graft copolymerization of starch with some of the commonly - used vinyl monomers, such as acrylamide, acrylonitrile,acrylic acid, acrylic esters and styrene,was reviewed in this paper. The effects of various factors, such as the initiator, starch and monomer, as well as temperature and time, on the grafting parameters were discussed. The applications of the graft copolymers were also introduced.
