Pressure equalization in diffusion cells |

| Abstract: | Design of a pressure equalization device is described that imposes a fixed pressure to minimize the relative importance of pressure fluctuations in steady state, counterdiffusion measurements employing a Wicke–Kallenbach diffusion cell. The success of this design is shown in observing gas diffusion in a liquid-filled, porous, sintered–steel plate. |
