甜菜碱对蛋鸡产蛋期血清激素及环腺苷酸影响的研究

Studies on the effect of betaine on serum hormone and cAMP in laying hens

ROM laying hens of about 300 days of age were randomly assigned to 2 groups (each with 4 replicates of 96 layers ) to be fed with a basal corn soybean meal diet and with 0 mg/kg or 750 mg/kg betaine for a period of 13 weeks,respectively.Feed and water were provided for ad libitum consumption and the birds received light of 16 h a day.Results indicated that betaine supplementation significantly increased serum levels of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luternizing hormone(LH) and estradiol(E 2) by 56.69%(P<0.01),20.75%(P<0.05) and 22.09%(P<0.05) as compared with control,respectively.The concentrations of cyclic adenosine 3',5' monophosphate(cAMP) in hypothalamus and anterior pituitary of 750 mg/kg betaine treated hens were significantly improved by 25.45%(P<0.05) and 21.07% (P<0.05),respectively.Betaine supplementation had no significant effects(P>0.05) on serum levels of ,progesterone(P 4),triiodothyronine(T 3),thyroxine(T 4) and parathormone(PTH).
