Analysis of The Influence of Silicon Mud on Cold-rolling Pickling System Equipment

With the increase in the output of high-strength steel in the pickling mill,a large amount of s ilicon mud is produced in the pickling process of strip steel,these conditions that pipes,graphite heat exchangers,pickling filters and spray beams is blocked by silicon mud,the measurement accuracy of the acid system instrument is affected,the pipeline valve is not closed tightly are caused.In the end,the normal operation of the unit was severely restricted.This article introduces the composition and formation mechanism of silicon mud,and systematic analysis summarized the influence of silicon mud on the pickling equipment of a cold rolling pickling mill,to help similar crew members improve their understanding of silicon mud and strengthen research and prevention.
