| Abstract: | The main electro--optic modulators in the high speed long distance optical fiber
communication are introduced, their principle, construction and application are described.
The researches in semiconductor modulator are making great progress. The organic poly-
mer electro--optic modulator is considered as the most potential modulator in the high speed
optical fiber communication, and is being the focus of people's attention. |
