论口译中的文化障碍问题

从英汉民族价值标准与思维模式、审美取向与心理联想、历史文化与文化意象、宗教信仰与风俗习惯以及地域环境与生活方式等5个方面探讨了英汉口译中存在的文化障碍问题，并提出口译者跨文化意识的培养有助于克服这些文化障碍，减少跨文化交际中的失误，促使跨文化交际顺利实现。

On the Cultural Barriers in Interpretation

This paper deals with the cultural barriers existing in English-Chinese interpretation from the aspects of values and ways of thinking,aesthetical orientation and mental association,historical culture and cultural imagery,religious belief and customs,and regional environment and ways of living of English and Chinese nations,and puts forward that cultivation of interpreters' cross-culture awareness can help them overcome these cultural barriers,lessen errors in cross-culture communication,and realize cross-culture communication smoothly.
