| 摘 要： | 19世纪50年代至20世纪20年代,是西方学者从事客家与太平天国研究的早期阶段。他们从探询太平天国运动的起源及力量来源问题起步,进而肯定太平天国运动是客家的“民族革命”,再进而将太平天国运动的主体力量客家人置于人类学研究视野之内予以探究,既促进了西方人类学的发展,又对20世纪上半叶中国学者的客家与太平天国研究以及汉族客家民系的建构,产生了深远的影响。

| Abstract: | The period between 1850s and 1920s signaled the early stage of the study and research among the western scholars into Hakkas and the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.They began with discussing the origin of the campaign and the sources of its power.Hence,they went to the conclusion that the Taiping rebellion is a "national revolution" of Hakkas.Accordingly,they put the Hakka people,the main power of Taiping rebellion into the vision of anthropology to be studied.This has promoted the development of the western anthropology,and at the same time greatly influenced the Chinese studies before the 20th century on Hakkas and the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom,and the construction of the Hakka branch as well. |
