| Abstract: | Mining excavation adopted to enlarge shield tunnels to build a station is a new technique.This new technique has been used on Guangzhou metro Line 6,and has successfully overcome the contradiction between the shield’s passing through and the construction of platform tunnel.The paper summarizes the characteristics and striking effect of the technique during the whole course of construction of Dongshankou Station. |
