Abstract:A great amount of low concentration coal bed methane may be released during coal mining,and it is important for energy utilization and environmental protection to make good use of this resource.The challenge of the recovery of low concentration coal bed methane is to separate carbon dioxide and methane economically.The control equations and the definite conditions for the coal bed methane within the zeolite molecular sieve column are established;and the discretization treatment has been carried out to the above equation set by using the control volume method and taking the mixture as carbon dioxide and methane.Moreover,the software is prepared by using the TDMA algorithm so as to solve the above discretized equation set.The analysis on the simulation results presents the influencing effects on the removal of the carbon dioxide in the adsorption treatment coal bed methane process.
