Abstract:For the study on simulation of CO2 capture processes with low temperature methanol,a thermodynamic model was established for a system with gases and strong polar components under high pressure.The Soave-Redlich-Kwong(SRK) cubic equation of state,Huron-Vidal mixing rule and Non-Random-Two-Liquid(NRTL) model for activity coefficients were used,and 45 pairs of parameters activity coefficient model were regressed with gas solubility and vapor-liquid equilibrium data.The simulation of the CO2 removal process was carried out.The results show that the thermodynamic method is valid for the process simulation with nonpolar gases such as H2,N2,CH4 and strong polar components such as CH3OH and H2O.
