摘    要:烟雾具有高细节、快速变化和湍流的特点,而传统的烟雾模拟方法都是通过提高网格精度的方法表现烟雾细节,耗费了大量的计算时间。本文提出了一种全新的粒子系统与物理模型相结合的方法,在不影响实时性的前提下生成了逼真的烟雾细节。首先用低精度粒子系统描述烟雾的大致运动轨迹,然后将三维空间中的烟雾粒子投射到平行于视平面的一系列二维平面上,利用二维平面上MacCormack方法求解欧拉方程对流项的快速性,实时地再现了高精度烟雾细节。实验证明,该方法在视觉真实感和实时性方面都取得了令人满意的结果。

Abstract:Since the smoke is highly detailed,fast-moving and turbulent,traditional smoke simulation models require large grid size and long computing time to capture the high details of smoke.In this paper,a new combination of the particle system with physically-based model is proposed,which captures the realistic smoke details while maintaining real-time quality.Firstly,the low-accuracy particle system is used to describe the general trajectory of the smoke.Then,the smoke particles in three-dimensional plane are projected onto a series of two-dimensional planes parallel to the view plane.Finally,the MacCormack method is utilized to solve the Euler equation rapidly in two-dimensional plane which simultaneously reproduces the details of high accuracy smoke.Extensive experiments have proved that the method can obtain the satisifactory results both in aspects of visual realism and realtime.
