| 摘 要： | 从西方美德伦理学者的理论实践看,不宜将现代西方美德伦理学的发展简单看作是亚里士多德美德思想的现代复兴.问题不是作为一种过去式的或亚里士多德式的美德伦理在现代社会何以可能,而是作为一种自觉与规范伦理学相区分的理论类型,美德伦理学如何证明自己比对手更具备理论优越性.以安斯库姆为代表的现代西方美德伦理学者从两个方面对比进行了论证,以期构建一个更为完备的理论类型.

| Abstract: | The inquiry of how it is possible of modern virtue ethics is normally understood as an effort to justifying virtue ethics in modern society.This viewpoint indicates that virtue ethics,represented by Aristotelian and Confucian ethics in West and East respectively,is kind of traditional(or classical) thought.This paper,however,suggests that the development of virtue ethics in modern West is not simply a revival of Aristotelian ethical thought.The question is not how it is possible of virtue ethics "in the pas... |
