Effect of postoperative application of GnRH-a on the rate of natural pregnancy in young female patients with ovarian endometriosis-associated infertility

Objective To observe the curative effect of postoperative application of gonadotrophin releasing hormone agonist( Gn RHa) in treatment of ovarian endometriosis-associated infertility,provide a basis for clinical application of Gn RH-a. Methods The clinical data of 83 patients with ovarian endometriosis-associated infertility treated by conservative laparoscopic surgery in Panjin Municipal Central Hospital from January 2013 to December 2017 were analyzed retrospectively,then the patients were divided into control group( simple laparoscopic surgery) and observation group( laparoscopic surgery combined with Gn RH-a). The time for menstrual cycle and menstrual volume return to normal,VAS scores of pelvic pain and dysmenorrhea,the levels of luteinizing hormone( LH),estradiol( E2),follicle-stimulating hormone( FSH),the rates of natural pregnancy in the two groups were compared,the incidence rate of adverse reactions in observation group was analyzed. Results The time for menstrual cycle and menstrual volume return to normal in observation group was statistically significantly shorter than that in control group( P<0. 05). After treatment,VAS scores of pelvic pain and dysmenorrhea in observation group were statistically significantly lower than those in control group( P<0. 05),the levels of LH,E2,and FSH in observation group were statistically significantly lower than those in control group( P<0. 05). The incidence rate of adverse reactions in observation group was 8. 70%.During follow-up,the rate of natural pregnancy in observation group was statistically significantly higher than that in control group( P <0. 05). Conclusion The curative effect of Gn RH-a after laparoscopic surgery in treatment of ovarian endometriosis-associated infertility is good,the therapy can promote recovery of menstruation,improve pelvic pain,dysmenorrhea,and levels of sex hormones,increase the rate of natural pregnancy,the safety is high.
