On Characteristics of Carbon Emissions And Strategy of Developing Low-carbon Economy in Shanxi Province

Developing low carbon economy is the necessary route that must be taken in Shanxi Province for changing the mode of economic development and realizing sustainable development. This paper analyses the characteristics of carbon emissions in Shanxi Province from the aspects of industrial structure, energy structure, intensity of carbon emission, and the level of carbon emission compared with other provinces in China. On the basis of the above analysis, this paper provides reference suggestions on low- carbon economic development in Shanxi province.
