| Abstract: | The definition as well as advantages and disadvantages of carbon fiber reinforced polymer is elaborated.Based upon introduction of the performances and characteristics of external prestressed concrete bridges the application of carbon fiber reinforced polymer used as external prestressed tendon is mentioned.In addition,summary and prospect are made in order to promote the application of this technique. |
