Application of Image Processing In Automatic Detecting System of Grade Rod

The paper introduces the structure and principle of the automatic detecting system of grade rod and a new method on automatic measurement is presented.The key circuit used for the image edge detection is designed and image segmentation algorithm is presented.The key circuit used for edge detection has the accurate and reliable feature,and the used algorithm has the feature of the refining,fast speed,strong adaptability.The combination of the them achieves better results and it is a practical method in the grade rod detection.
