| Abstract: | the Domino Structure is the column-slab system designed by Corbusier in 1922, a foundational structural system for modern architecture. This paper analyzes the structural systems of several contemporary buildings. It shows how these systems can be viewed as transformations of the 1922 system at the same time they represent new approaches in the development of structural systems. |
