Abstract:It is known from the study made in 1987,there are 10 species of the micry-phantid spiders in paddy field in the south of the Yangtze River.Ummeliata in-secticeps is dominant in all paddy fields.Its population quantities are about 90%among the micryphantid spiders in Hunan.Erigone graminicolum,Gnathonariumgibberum and G.dentatum can become dominant in some paddy-growing area.InMarch,June,September and December,the mean population quantities of themicryphantid are 7638,11585,7983 and 4686 per mu respectively in all area ofHunan.
