| Abstract: | With the rapid development of the Wide Band, video communication finds increasingly wider applications. The key to video communication is the improvement of end to end User Experience. Besides QoS of the network, another important factor affecting User Experience is luminance distortion, which results from gamma nonlinearity of the video system. This paper presents the concept of Gamma Correction, the causes of luminance distortion and its correction. |
