"五色"理论探微

摘    要:“五色”理论是中国古代装饰用色的核心理论 ,历代统治阶级对这一理论均很重视 ,并影响了广大下层劳动人民的审美观。它沿用了数千年 ,贯穿整个中国古代装饰史 ,直至今天对现代装饰用色的某些方面仍存在一定影响。因此 ,对它的内涵的了解 ,对它与古代“五行”观念、等级观念关系的研究以及对它的美学意义的阐释是探讨中国装饰史不可缺少的工作。为此 ,笔者结合古文献与工艺美术实践对“五色”理论进行了较为细致的论述 ,重新审视某些传统用色观念 ,从中发掘出能够启迪现代艺术思维的审美思想

Abstract:The theory of "Five Colors" was the central color theory of decoration in ancient China.The ruling classes over eras paid much attention to the theory,which influenced the aesthetic concept of a large population of the laboring people as well.It has been used for thousands of years and has run through the decoration history in ancient China.Even now,the modern decoration is also influenced by the theory more or less.Thus understanding its main content,studying the relationship among the theory and the idea of "Five Elements" and the idea of class,clarifying its aesthetics significance are the essential work for the study of Chinese decoration history.By the investigation of ancient documents and experiences of arts and crafts,the paper reconsiders the theory of "Five Colors",and finds some aesthetic ideas which can inspire modern artistic thought.
