| Abstract: | The problem of brittle materials with sallow cracks is a widely-noticed problem. Many tests show that the fracture toughness of brittle materials with shallow cracks is lower than that with deep cracks. By theory etical analysis and finite clement calculation, this problem is disscussed. |
