虽然大肠癌的治疗已取得了很大进展,但目前治疗效果仍不是很理想。现有的大肠癌肿瘤标志物的敏感性和特异性均较低,因此在大肠癌的诊治中,我们更迫切希望有更敏感、更特异的标志物出现。最近,关于miRNAs的研究已经从基础分子研究迅速发展到临床领域中。该文主要阐述了miRNAs作为分子标志物在大肠癌的疾病易感性、诊断、预后及治疗反应中的潜在作用。尽管在肿瘤相关miRNAs的研究领域中仍有许多挑战,但它们肯定会在将来大大提高大肠癌的临床诊治水平。

Progresses in research on miRNA as colorectal cancer biomarker

Despite promising developments of treatment, the overall outcome of colorectal cancer（CRC） remains poor. The sensitivity and specificity of current tumor markers are both low. There is an urgent need for identifying more specific and more sensitive novel markers in the clinical management of CRC. Recently, miRNA studies have quickly moved from basic molecular research of cancer to areas of clinical application. This review mainly summaries the potential role of miRNAs as molecular biomarkers for disease susceptibility, diag- nosis,prognosis and treatment-response in CRC. Although there are still many challenges in the research field of tumor-related miRNAs, the small molecules will definitely improve the clinical management of CRC in the future.
