跨文化交际在大学英语教学中的应用

随着世界经济的发展及全球一体化的推进,国内与国际间的交往越来越密切,跨文化交际越来越普遍。旨在提高大学生跨文化交际能力的大学英语教学面临着新的挑战。由于文化背景差异是跨文化交际的主要障碍,而文化背景又决定着语言习惯、思维模式、社会文化、风土人情等等诸语境因素,因此,新形势下大学英语教学应从传统的教授语音、语法、词汇上升到培养学生跨文化交际能力这一高度。

The Application of Intercultural Communication to College English teaching

With the development of world' economy as well as the globalization,contact becomes close home and abroad,phenomena of inter-culture communication is more and more common.And college English teaching which focuses on improving students' cross-culture communication ability faces a new challenge.Culture difference is the main obstacle of cross-culture communication;on the other hand,culture background determines language pattern,thinking model,social culture and local conditions and other factors.Therefore,under new situation,college English teaching should focus on grammar and vocabulary learning as well as inter-culture communication.
