| Abstract: | Every grinding process must go through a transitional period,which plays an impor-tant role in surface quality of the work piece. The paper presents ideas of the author about theoreticalanalysis of the transitional period of cylindrical plunge grinding on the basis of the previous study byother people. And experiments have been done to verify the analytical result which can give instruc-tions to wheel grinding practices. |
