塞曼能级电磁诱导透明暗态的演化

摘    要:利用数值方法研究了超精细能级分裂的原子系统中电磁诱导透明暗态随时间的演化和驻波光场中稳态布居的空间相关性。考虑圆偏振和线偏振两种极化方案 ,并且将组合后的结果与简单三能级情况相比较。分析结果表明,圆偏极化方式下暗态的布居分布比线偏极化方式下更接近简单三能级的分析结果,而且圆偏极化方式下的局域化分辨率更好。演化的过程还说明,系统达到稳态需要足够长的相互作用时间。

Abstract:A numerical simulation was used to study the evolution of dark state of electromagnetically induced transparency(EIT) and the spatial dependence of the steady-state population in a standing wave in a system exhibiting hyperfine splitting. We consider two polarization schemes in this work, and compare the combined effect of the individual components with the simple three-level system. Analytical results indicate that the redistribution of population among the zeeman-sublevels in the different polarization modes are different, and the combined effect compared with simple three-level situation, their difference is also different.
