This paper addresses the existence of loop gain-phase shaping (LGPS) solutions for the design of robust digital control systems for SISO, minimum-phase, continuous-time processes with parametric uncertainty. We develop the frequency response properties of LGPS for discrete-time systems using the Δ-transform, a transform method that applies to both continuous-time and discrete-time systems. A theorem is presented which demonstrates that for reasonable specifications there always exists a sampling period such that the robust digital control problem has a solution. Finally, we offer a procedure for estimating the maximum feasible sampling period for LGPS solutions to robust digital control problems. 相似文献

In this paper, we propose a novel distributed robust fault detection and identification (RFDI) scheme for a class of nonlinear systems. Firstly, a detection and identification estimator—robust fault tracking approximator (RFTA) is designed for online health monitoring. A novel feature of the RFTA is that it can simultaneously detect and accurately identify the shape and magnitude of the fault and disturbance. Moreover, it takes less online training time compared with the traditional neural network based fault diagnosis schemes. For some distributed systems, a network of distributed estimators is constructed where the RFTA is embedded into each estimator. Then we use consensus filter to filter the outputs of each estimator. One of the most important merits of the consensus filter is that its outputs can dramatically improve the accuracy of fault detection and identification. Next, the stability of the distributed RFDI scheme is rigorously investigated. Finally, two numerical examples are given to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach. 相似文献

This paper introduces results on placement and communications minimization for systems of affine recurrence equations. We show how to classify the dependences according to the number and nature of communications they may result in. We give both communication-free conditions and conditions for an efficient use of broadcast or neighbor-to-neighbor communication primitives. Since the dependences of a problem can generally not be all communication-free, we finally introduce a heuristic to globally minimize the communications based on the classification of dependences. 相似文献

In this paper, a robust control system is first proposed which is suitable for the control of a class of nonlinear systems. A parallel connection of a relay to a proportional integral derivative (PID) controller collectively forms the robust controller. The relay ensures robust control by providing a high feedback gain, but it also induces a control chattering phenomenon. Instead of viewing chattering as an undesirable yet inevitable feature, the chattering signals are used as natural excitation signals for identifying an equivalent PID controller using the recursive least squares algorithm. No other explicit input signal is required. Analysis is provided on the stability properties of the control scheme. Quality and reliability design practitioners have utilized Taguchi's methodology of matrix experimentation to generate computer simulation data for characterizing performance variation of product designs. However, the sampling strategy employed renders computer implementation of matrix experimentation cumbersome and statistically invalid. Weaknesses of this approach also include sample size limitation and overestimation of performance variation. An alternative approach that combines Monte Carlo simulation with the strategies of independent sampling across runs and correlated sampling between runs is presented. Robust control synthesis of linear time-invariant SISO polytopic systems is investigated using the polynomial approach. A convex set of all stabilizing controllers for a polytopic system is given over an infinite-dimensional space. A finite-dimensional approximation of this set is obtained using the orthonormal basis functions and represented by a set of LMIs thanks to the KYP lemma. Then, an LMI based convex optimization problem for robust pole placement with sensitivity function shaping in two- and infinity-norm is proposed.
