用青贮牧草和青贮玉米饲喂羯羊,测定了青贮饲料随意采食量、瘤胃内纤维消化动态、对瘤胃微生物氮源和能源供应等因素的影响.瘤胃内纤维质消化、粗蛋白质和有机物降解采用尼龙小包技术测定.所用的两种青贮饲料在营养成分和发酵品质上虽有很大差异,但是绵羊的随意采食量基本相同.从瘤胃内纤维物质消化动态角度看,青贮牧草的潜在消化率高于青贮玉米,而青贮玉米潜在可消化纤维的消化速度快于青贮牧草,但两种牧草在绝对消化速度(潜在消化率与其消化速度之积)上没有差异,而且两者的瘤胃通过速度也基本相同.无论是哪种青贮饲料,其粗蛋白和有机物在瘤胃内降解率都很高,但两者间差异很小.两种青贮饲料的瘤胃降解氮、对瘤胃微生物氮源和能源供应等数值尽管较高,但是瘤胃氨态氮浓度也很高.这些结果表明,在青贮饲料随意采食量的调控上,瘤胃容积等物理因素也许起着重要的作用.  相似文献

Three types of bamboo pellets as a ruminant feed: P1 (ground bamboo (GB) cultured with the fungus Ceriporiopsis subvermispora (CGB) : soybean curd residue (T) : soy sauce cake (S) in a 5:4:1 ratio on a dry matter (DM) basis); P2 (GB : T : S = 5:4:1 on a DM basis); and P3 (CGB : T : S = 5.5:0.8:3.7 on a DM basis) were prepared. Four wethers were assigned in a 4 × 4 Latin square design experiment to evaluate the applicability of the bamboo pellets. The experimental treatments were C (control): fed alfalfa hay cubes (AC) only, and T1, T2 and T3: fed P1, P2, and P3 with AC by 1:1 on a DM basis, respectively. The digestibility of the DM, organic matter and acid detergent fiber of P1 were significantly higher than those of P2 and P3 (P < 0.05). The total digestible nutrient (TDN) contents of AC, P1, P2 and P3 were 56.5%, 60.2%, 53.2% and 47.0%, respectively. No significant differences in nitrogen retention or ruminal pH and NH3 were observed among the treatment groups. The results indicate that bamboo pellets cultured with C. subvermispora and mainly mixed with soybean curd residue improved nutritional quality of ground bamboo because of its high digestibility and TDN content.  相似文献

Four wethers were used in a 4 × 4 Latin square design experiment to evaluate the applicability of two types of total mixed ration (TMR) silage with food by‐products. Four food by‐products (i.e., potato waste, soy sauce cake, soybean curd residue and noodle waste) were obtained and mixed with commercial concentrate (CC) as TMR silage. The two types of TMR silage, T1 and T2, each contained CC, in addition to all by‐products for T1 (TRE1), and soy sauce cake and noodle waste for T2 (TRE2) on a dry matter (DM) basis. The silage was well‐fermented with low pH values and high lactic acid concentration. As the experimental treatments, T1, T2 and CC (CTL) were fed with a basal diet. The result showed that the digestibility of DM and organic matter (OM) were higher for T1 than for CC (P < 0.05), while crude protein digestibility was not significantly different among T1, T2 and CC. The retained nitrogen was not affected by inclusion of food by‐products. Ruminal pH in TRE1 and TRE2 immediately decreased compared to that in CTL. The study suggested that the two types of TMR silage, including food by‐products, might be used as a substitute for commercial concentrate.  相似文献

试验采用荧光定量PCR技术,在不同精粗比日粮条件下对内蒙古白绒山羊瘤胃内容物中内纤毛虫和3种主要纤维分解菌进行定量研究。结果表明:日粮中粗料比例增加,内纤毛虫(Ento-dinium)的数量降低,组间差异不显著(P>0.05);日粮中粗料比例增加,产琥珀酸丝状杆菌(Fibrobacter succinogenes)、黄色瘤胃球菌(Ruminococcus flavefaciens)和白色瘤胃球菌(Ruminococcus albus)的数量均增加,组间差异不显著(P>0.05)。  相似文献

用3头装有瘤胃瘘管的绵羊,研究了稻草饲料采食量与瘤胃内纤维质消化的关联。窟胃内纤维质的消化用半体内法(尼龙小包技术)测定,以可消化含量(PED)、PED的消化速度常数(kd)、消化迟延时间(LT)以及通过速度常数(kp)等指标进行了描述。稻草饲料采食量与细胞壁成分或酸性洗涤纤维的PED或kd均无显著相关,而与两者之积(PED×kd)和kp有显著相关。作者动态地结合PED,kd,kp三者,用下式描述了瘤胃内纤维质的消失:[PED/(kd+kp)+(100-PED)/kp],并把此式求得之值命名为饲料纤维质的瘤胃滞留系数。稻草饲料的采食量与细胞壁成分的瘤胃滞留系数有极显著的负相关(r=-0.90***)。这些结果意着味,通过改善瘤胃内纤维质的消化和通过加快瘤胃内饲料残渣的排空,将能提高稻草饲料的采食量。  相似文献

A 4×4 Latin square experiment (Exp) was conducted using eight Debouillet yearling wethers with two wethers/cell to compare the effects of forbs and shrubs supplementation to a low-quality barley straw with alfalfa hay (ALF) supplementation in terms of nutrient digestion and balance. Diets studied in the Exp were barley straw (0.56% N) and straw plus either 42% ALF, 63% forbs (a 50:50 mixture of scarlet globemallow and leatherleaf croton) or 62% shrubs (mixture of 50% fourwing saltbush and 50% mountain mahogany). Diets containing ALF, forbs and shrubs were isonitrogenous (1.68% N). Periods of each Latin square were 15 days with total fecal and urine collections obtained on the last 5 days of each period. Dry matter intake of ALF and shrub-containing diets was similar and higher (P<0.05) than straw alone or straw plus forb diets. Nitrogen (N) retention was improved, but NDF digestibility was reduced (P<0.05), in diets containing ALF and shrubs compared with straw only. No difference in N retention among diets were detected (P>0.05) when N intake was used as a covariate. Metabolizable energy (ME) content of all the diets was similar except the shrub containing diet that was lower than the straw plus forbs or straw plus ALF but similar to the straw diet. Forbs had little influence on digestion and N utilization in the Exp presumably because of their reduced acceptability in the dried and ground form by sheep. Results suggest that native shrubs used in the study influenced intake and N utilization in a manner similar to ALF; and forbs used were similar in ME to ALF.  相似文献

Four ruminally cannulated, Debouillet wethers were used in a 4×4 latin square experiment to evaluate the influence of a forb mix, a shrub mix and alfalfa (ALF) hay on ruminal fermentation characteristics and digesta kinetics of a basal grass hay/straw (GH/S; 1.04% N) diet. The grass hay was mostly blue grama (Bouteloua gracilis) mixed with barley (Hordeum vulgare) straw. Wethers were fed either the GH/S mix (7030), GH/SALF (295813), GH/Sforbs (265420), or GH/Sshrubs (265420). The forb component consisted of equal parts of scarlet globemallow (Sphaeralcea coccinea) and leatherleaf croton (Croton corymbulosus) while shrubs were composed of equal parts of fourwing saltbush (Atriplex canescens) and mountain mahogany (Cercocarpus montanus). Ruminal pH, ammonia-N, as well as total VFA concentrations and molar proportions of individual VFA did not differ among diets. Particulate passage rates tended (P>0.10) to be greater for diets containing ALF, forbs or shrubs (2.8, 2.9 and 2.8% h–1) than the GH/S diet (2.5% h–1). In situ DM and NDF disappearance of a GH/straw (5050) mix did not differ among treatments at most incubation times, except at 96 h when extent of both DM and NDF disappearance were greater (P<0.05) in sheep fed either forbs or shrubs than in those fed other diets.  相似文献

Four wethers were used in a 4 × 4 Latin square design experiment to evaluate the availability of two types of winery wastes, winery sediment and grape pomace, as ruminant feeds possessing antioxidant activities. Each wether was assigned to one of the following four treatments: (i) 75 g/kg winery sediment (WS) on a dry matter (DM) basis; (ii) 166 g/kg DM winery grape pomace (WP); (iii) control diet (CD; 17 g/kg DM soybean meal);and (iv) only tall fescue hay (TFH; no additive). Winery sediment and grape pomace had high levels of polyphenols and of radical scavenging activities. Feeding with winery sediment and grape pomace did not negatively affect the intake, but it depressed crude protein (CP) digestibility compared with CD (P = 0.052 and P < 0.01 for WS and WP, respectively). Polyphenols in winery wastes decreased ruminal ammonia production (P = 0.089 and P < 0.05), likely due to their inhibitive effect on microbial activities in the rumen. The addition of winery sediment and grape pomace decreased urinary 8‐hydroxy‐2'‐deoxyguanosine (8‐OHdG; an index of oxidative damages) excretion per day (P < 0.05 and P = 0.059). The results indicated that winery sediment and grape pomace could alter nitrogen metabolism and/or act as new antioxidants for ruminants.  相似文献

AIM: To validate the use of para-aminohippuric acid (PAH) as a marker for measuring blood flow in wethers consuming a mixed diet of locoweed and blue grama hay.

METHODS: Fourteen sheep, stratified by bodyweight (BW), were assigned to one of three treatments: 0.8 mg swainsonine (SW)/kg BW (HI), 0.2 mg SW/kg BW (LO), and no SW (Control). Sheep were fed various ratios of locoweed and blue grama hay to deliver SW treatments, for 28 days prior to infusion of PAH. Concentrations of SW and activities of alkaline phosphatase (Alk-P) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in serum were measured to confirm exposure to SW and subclinical intoxication. A single 20-ml injection of 5% PAH was delivered into the jugular vein after subclinical intoxication had been achieved. Blood samples were collected and serum analysed for PAH immediately prior to injection, then every 5 min from 5–30 min, and every 10 min from 30–60 min, following injection of PAH.

RESULTS: Effective delivery of SW was evident from the greater concentrations of SW measured in the serum of HI compared with LO animals (p<0.05). No significant differences were detected in the rate of elimination (range 0.097–0.108 L/min), elimination half-life (range 6.62–7.24 min), apparent volume of distribution for the central compartment (range 7.14–9.72 L), and clearance (range 0.73–0.92 L/min) of PAH, between treatments.

CONCLUSIONS: Subclinical intoxication with SW did not affect the pharmacokinetics of PAH. Thus, use of downstream dilution of PAH is a valid method to determine the rate of blood flow in nutrient flux experiments that involve consumption of locoweed.  相似文献

The objective of this experiment was to determine the ensiling characteristics, nutrient composition and nutritive value of Chinese yam by-product (CYBP) silage treated without additive (Control), with lactic acid bacteria (LY), with dried beet pulp (BY), or with mixtures of lactic acid bacteria and dried beet pulp (LBY) for a fermentation period of 150 days. The nutritive value of CYBP silage was studied in an in vivo digestibility trial using wethers in a 4 × 4 Latin square design. Addition of lactic acid bacteria and/or dried beet pulp greatly improved fermentation quality of CYBP silage. The pH was reduced to below 4.0 and lactic acid was produced at above 4.6% on dry matter basis. There were no statistical differences among treatments in the digestibilities of dry matter, organic matter, crude protein and energy in the silages, but neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber digestibility were higher ( P  < 0.001) in wethers fed BY and LBY silages compared to the control and LY silages. It was estimated that total digestible nutrient and digestible energy in the CYBP silage averaged 79.1% and 14.3 MJ/kg on dry matter basis. The study suggests that CYBP can be well preserved by making a silage and it is a good potential energy source for ruminant diets.  相似文献
