Abstract— The current status of AC powder electroluminescent (ACPEL) displays is reviewed with particular emphasis given to color and lifetime. The printing of the displays in forward and reverse architectures is also discussed, in addition to the fabrication of ACPEL displays with interdigitated electrodes, and different types of ACPEL phosphors and materials for back electrodes, transparent conducting electrodes, binders, and dielectrics are considered. Rare earth complex Tb(BA)3phen was synthesized, which is first used as an emitting material in electroluminescence. The properties of monolayer device with the swing film rate of 1000 r·min-1(70 nm) and the weight ratio of 1:5(PVK:Tb(BA)3phen) are the best. And the highest brightness of this device reached 26.8 cd·cm-2 at a fixed bias of 21 V. Bright green emission could be obtained from the optimized double-layer device and the highest EL brightness of the device reached 322 cd·m-2 at the voltage of 22 V. 相似文献

Homoepitaxial growth of 4H-SiC on off-oriented Si-face(0001 ) substrates was performed by using the step-controlled epitaxy technique in a newly developed low-pressure hot-wall CVD (LP-HWCVD) system with a horizontal aircooled quartz tube at around 1500 ℃and 1.33 × 104 Pa by employing SiH4 C2H4 H2. In-situ doping during growth was carried out by adding NH3 gas into the precursor gases. It was shown that the maximum Hall mobility of the undoped 4H-SiC epilayers at room temperature is about 430 cm2 ·V -1 ·s -1 with a carrier concentration of ~ 1016 cm-3 and the highest carrier concentration of the N-doped 4H-SiC epilayer obtained at NH3 flow rate of 3 sccm is about 2.7 × 1021 cm-3 with a mobility of 0.75 cm2 ·V -1 ·S -1. SiC p-n junctions were obtained by epitaxially growing N-doped 4H-SiC epilayers on Aldoped 4H-SiC substrates. The C-V characteristics of the diodes were linear in the 1/C3-V coordinates indicating that the obtained p-n junctions were graded with a built-in voltage of 2.7 eV. The room temperature electroluminescence spectra of 4H-SiC p-n junctions are studied as a function of forward current. The D-A pair recombination due to nitrogen donors and the unintentional, deep boron center is dominant at low forward bias, while the D-A pair recombination due to nitrogen donors and aluminum acceptors are dominant at higher forward biases. The p-n junctions could operate at temperature of up to 400 ℃, which provides a potential for high-temperature applications. 相似文献

Abstract— Defect‐free large‐area inorganic thick‐dielectric EL (TDEL) displays using Color by Blue (CBB) technology have been successfully developed. We have achieved the world's highest blue‐phosphor luminance of 900 cd/m2 for a single‐pixel device by using CBB and by optimizing the e‐beam gun configuration and the flow rate of H2S in the vacuum chamber. By analyzing the defects on panels with triple‐pattern phosphors and CBB panels, we also found that the number of defects on CBB panels can be drastically reduced compared with those on triple‐pattern panels. The defect‐free 17‐in. VGA CBB panels show better characteristics, a high peak luminance of 600 cd/m2 and a high contrast ratio of 1000:1, compared with those of triple‐pattern panels. 相似文献

最近几十年来,聚合物的电致发光(EL)现象研究引起了国际研究者的广泛重视,得到了许多宝贵的实验数据和结果。为介绍国内外EL现象的研究现状和进展,给国内欲从事此项研究的人员提供较全面的认识,介绍了研究EL的实验装置和方法;在探讨聚合物EL的物理原理的基础上,分析了不同电压波形下的EL模型,并讨论了EL、空间电荷和聚合物老化之间的关系。研究结果表明EL现象与绝缘材料的老化有着密切的联系,但EL是否是材料老化的起因尚存在着争论。今后需进行更多的研究工作来探讨其关系,并希望提出新的更灵敏、更超前的聚合物绝缘状况的表征参数和检测方法。 相似文献

Zinc-porphyrin dye molecules were incorporated into the backbone of a conjugated polymer material by a method, which allowed for the incorporation of only one zinc-porphyrin dye molecule into the backbone of each conjugated polymer molecule. The electronic properties of the homopolymer were established using ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS) for the determination of the electronic energy levels and the injection barrier for holes into the valence band. Pulse radiolysis time resolved microwave conductivity (PR-TRMC) was used to determine the sum of charge carrier mobilities. Electroluminescent devices of the homopolymer itself and of the zinc-porphyrin containing polymer were prepared and the nature of the electroluminescence was characterized. The homopolymer segments were found to optically pump the emission of the zinc-porphyrin dye moities. The homopolymer exhibits blue-green emission and the zinc-porphyrin linked homopolymers emit near-infrared/infrared light. This was demonstrated to be due to electroluminescence pumping of the zinc-porphyrin moieties that were covalently linked to homopolymer material. When only one zinc-porphyrin dye was incorporated into the backbone of each homopolymer molecule complete suppression of homopolymer electroluminescence was observed with exclusive near-infrared emission. 相似文献

New azomethine compounds of 2-(N-tosylamino)benzaldehyde or 5-chloro-2-(N-tosylamino)benzaldehyde and the corresponding chlorine-substituted anilines, zinc(II) complexes based on them have been synthesized. The structures of azomethines and their complexes were determined by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, X-ray spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction. It is found that all ZnL2 complexes have a tetrahedral structure according to XAFS and X-ray diffraction data. The photoluminescent properties of azomethines and zinc complexes in methylene chloride solution and in solid form have been studied. It is shown that the photoluminescence quantum yields of solid samples of the complexes are an order of magnitude higher compared to the solutions and range from 11.34% to 48.3%. The thermal properties of Zn(II) complexes were determined by thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry. The TGA curves of all the compounds suggest their high thermal stability up to temperatures higher than 290 °C. The electrochemical properties of all complexes were investigated by the cyclic voltammetry method. The multilayered devices ITO/PEDOT:PSS/NPD/Zn complex/ TPBI/LiF/Al with wide electroluminescence (EL) color range spanning the range from bluish-green (494 nm) to green (533 nm) and the high values of brightness, current and power efficiency were fabricated. The biological activity of azomethines and zinc complexes has been studied. In the case of complexes, the protistocidal activity of the zinc complex with azomethine of 5-chloro-2-(N-tosylamino)benzaldehyde with 4-chloroaniline was two times higher than the activity of the reference drug toltrazuril. 相似文献
