Nuclei in the neutron-rich Ni region have been studied by γ-ray spectroscopy. Gamma-rays emitted from isomers, with T
1/2 > 1 ns, produced in heavy-ion deep-inelastic collisions were measured with an isomer-scope. The nuclear structure of the
doubly magic 68Ni and its neighbor 69,71Cu is discussed on the basis of the shell model. Future experiments for more neutron-rich Ni nuclei are also viewed.

We analyze the spectra of pions and protons in heavy-ion collisions at relativistic energies from 2 A GeV to 65+65 A GeV by
using a jet-implemented hadron-string cascade model. In this energy region, hadron transverse mass spectra first show softening
until SPS energies, and re-hardening may emerge at RHIC energies. Since hadronic matter is expected to show only softening
at higher energy densities, this re-hardening of spectra can be interpreted as a good signature of the quark-gluon plasma

We quantify the long-time behavior of solutions to the nonlinear Boltzmann equation for spatially uniform freely cooling inelastic Maxwell molecules by means of the contraction property of a suitable metric in the set of probability measures. Existence, uniqueness, and precise estimates of overpopulated high energy tails of the self-similar profile proved in ref. 9 are revisited and derived from this new Liapunov functional. For general initial conditions the solutions of the Boltzmann equation are then proved to converge with computable rate as t → ∞ to the self-similar solution in this distance, which metrizes the weak convergence of measures. Moreover, we can relate this Fourier distance to the Euclidean Wasserstein distance or Tanaka functional proving also its exponential convergence towards the homogeneous cooling states. The findings are relevant in the understanding of the conjecture formulated by Ernst and Brito in refs. 15, 16, and complement and improve recent studies on the same problem of Bobylev and Cercignani(9) and Bobylev, Cercignani and one of the authors.(11) 相似文献

The cross section of the 3s → 3p transition of sodium produced by electron impact has been calculated by performing a numerical integration of the coupled differential equations. The potential functions have been calculated exactly using the hydrogen‐like wave functions for the valence electron of the sodium with an effective charge adjusted to fit the experimental 3s → 3p line strength. Interpolation formulas are presented to reproduce the rate coefficients for vibrational–translational energy exchange and dissociation for the N + N2 collision process. The original data have been obtained by quasiclassical method in a detailed way, including the effect of molecular rotation.
