Two‐step Newton‐type methods for solving inverse eigenvalue problems

In this paper, we apply the two‐step Newton method to solve inverse eigenvalue problems, including exact Newton, Newton‐like, and inexact Newton‐like versions. Our results show that both two‐step Newton and two‐step Newton‐like methods converge cubically, and the two‐step inexact Newton‐like method is super quadratically convergent. Numerical implementations demonstrate the effectiveness of new algorithms.     

完全非正规Toeplitz算子

In this paper, we show that the hyponormal Toeplitz operator Tφ with trigonometric polynomial symbol φ is either normal or completely non-normal. Moreover, if Tφ is non-normal, then Tφ has a dense set of cyclic vectors. Some general conditions are also considered.     

Hyponormality of bounded‐type Toeplitz operators

In this paper we deal with the hyponormality of Toeplitz operators with matrix‐valued symbols. The aim of this paper is to provide a tractable criterion for the hyponormality of bounded‐type Toeplitz operators (i.e., the symbol is a matrix‐valued function such that Φ and are of bounded type). In particular, we get a much simpler criterion for the hyponormality of when the co‐analytic part of the symbol Φ is a left divisor of the analytic part.     

Properties of mono-weakly hyponormal 2-variable weighted shifts

In this paper, we study several properties for mono-weakly hyponormal 2-variable weighted shifts. First, we consider propagation phenomena for mono-weakly hyponormal (resp. mono-polynomially hyponormal) 2-variable weighted shifts. Next, we contemplate the mono-weak hyponormality under the Schur product. Finally, we study whether the mono-weak hyponormality is invariant under powers.     

Global optimization of a class of nonconvex quadratically constrained quadratic programming problems

In this paper we study a class of nonconvex quadratically constrained quadratic programming problems generalized from relaxations of quadratic assignment problems. We show that each problem is polynomially solved. Strong duality holds if a redundant constraint is introduced. As an application, a new lower bound is proposed for the quadratic assignment problem.     

APPLICATION OF TWO OPERATORS TRANSFORM FROM CLASS A OPERATOR TO THE CLASS OF HYPONORMAL OPERATOR

In this article, we give an operator transform T (*) from class A operator to the class of hyponormal operators. It is different from the operator transform T defined by M. Ch and T. Yamazaki. Then, we show that σ(T ) = σ( T (*)) and σa(T )\{0} = σa( T (*))\{0}, in case T belongs to class A. Next, we obtain some relations between T and T (9).     

一种求解二次约束二次规划问题的自适应全局优化算法

为了更好地解决二次约束二次规划问题(QCQP), 本文基于分支定界算法框架提出了自适应线性松弛技术, 在理论上证明了这种新的定界技术对于解决(QCQP)是可观的。文中分支操作采用条件二分法便于对矩形进行有效剖分; 通过缩减技术删除不包含全局最优解的部分区域, 以加快算法的收敛速度。最后, 通过数值结果表明提出的算法是有效可行的。
